Pest Control Technician

Position description

Training

In order to obtain the mandatory certification, knowledge and autonomy, you will be paired with an experienced technician for a few months. You will be given paid time for your readings and evaluations.

Mission

Prevent pest infiltration and development and solve existing problems

Responsibilities

• Inspect sites to identify situations conducive to the intrusion and development of harmful pests.
• Identify signs of pest presence and identify them.
• Apply appropriate treatments to control pest problems.
• Develop good relationships with customers in order to obtain their collaboration.
• Offer additional solutions when necessary
• Properly complete work forms according to company methods and regulations.
• Maintain vehicle, equipment and product inventory in order.
• Continually improve your knowledge of pest management.
• Protect the reputation of the company and its customers.

Requirements

• Valid driving license
• French and English, spoken and written
• Good physical shape
• Good communication
• Ability to learn
• Autonomous and responsible
• High school diploma completed
